We recommend you and your family take 1-2 hours of your day to come into our showroom located in Edmonton to see and experience first hand how a smart home can benefit you, also get a good understanding of what features are most important for you and your family.

Once we have a solid understanding of your smart home goals, we will sit down with your blueprints and meticulously go room by room to ensure we have a plan in place for the smart home of your dreams.

Your project will be quoted out into 2 stages. 

Rough In Stage
The most important part of any system is the infrastructure. With the proper backbone in place you will open the doors to future automation and expandability to your system. We encourage people to pre-wire for any "maybe's" as it is much cheaper wire now, then when the house is built.

Also we will include any panelized lighting infrastructure into the project at this stage so your trades people are able to work with lights in place while the house is being built.

Payment Terms: 50% Prior to wiring / 50% Upon wiring completion

Equipment Stage
As the turnaround time for a new house can be over a year long, which is a very long time in the land of technology, we will provide an estimate for equipment based on today's gear, however we will re-visit the equipment quote a couple of months prior to possession to ensure we are still on the same page and getting the latest and greatest in technology.

Payment Terms: 100% of equipment at time of order / 100% of labour at time of sign off.

Our in house technicians will meticulously run all the necessary wire for your system as well as install any necessary vapour barriers, back boxes, guide rails etc. to prepare your house for completion. We take photos of all the wires to ensure nothing is lost during the build.

Typically once the ceilings are finished and paint is on the walls we will come in and get all of the "dirty work" out of the way. This includes cutting speaker holes, terminating wall plates and ensuring all the wires are in the appropriate place for completion. We will also start with wire management for your equipment rack.

This is where your system will come to life. We will work with you to ensure your service providers for internet, cable and telephone are on the right track. Your equipment rack will be brought to site and the magic of a smart home will come together.

During this stage we will use our extensive experience to set up your networking, audio, video, lighting and all other control how we best imagine you using it.

As you live with your new system for the first few months you will get to know the in & outs of your smart home and we will work with you to fine tune things like lighting scenes and audio settings.
